Can you remember the first time we touched?
Can you remember my heart pounding on your chest?
As we danced through that night.
Can you remember how we wished that night would never end?

Can you remember how we wanted each other to make that first move?
We sat at that table for so long pretending to be just friends.
Do you remember how you tried to look at me and talk to me that night?
And I was not sure what to say becos I didn’t know where to begin.

Can you remember how much courage it took that day?
To look into each other’s eyes in a whole new way.
Do you remember how much we struggled inside?
To say out all those feelings we had for each other.

Do you remember the first trip to our park?
You held on to me as we walked up that hill.
Can you remember the first time I said I get a tingle in my heart every time I see you?
You had your arms around me so tight all that night.

Do you remember how sick you were that night?
Yet we shared our first kiss under that moonlight.
Do you remember how we leaned against my car looking into each other’s eye?
I had my hands on your waist and your head on my chest.

Do you remember the joy and pain we felt that night as I dropped you home.
Joy because we finally had each other and pain as we said our first goodbye.
Do you remember how I didn’t want to let go of your hands.
I had my arms outstretched holding your fingers till the last one left my touch.

Do you remember how our love grew bit by bit?
All we wanted then was just one message saying we loved each other.
Can you remember how much we wanted more?
I couldn’t go to bed without hearing your voice.

Can you remember how we fought about whose love was bigger?
You loved me with all your heart and I knew you loved me more.
Do you remember how afraid I was to let myself go because I feared I will lose you?
But then you promised me I will never lose you and my whole heart I gave to you.

Do you remember all the promises we made to each other.
There were one too many, yet all came from our heart because our love was strong.
Can you remember asking me to never give you up or stop loving you?
You asked with love in your eyes and I gave you my word.

Do you remember asking me to hold you tight and never let go?
I hugged you with all my strength and wished I could be one with you.
Do you remember how I kissed your tears away as you cried?
And I promised I will never make you cry when we get together.

Do you remember how we gave each other names?
I wake up in the middle of the night hearing you call my name.
Do you remember how you called out my name during your sleep?
That meant the world to me and I knew you said it from your heart.

Do you remember how much we longed to see each other?
You waited eagerly for me to return from meetings to see me.
Do you remember our cute and secret looks and moments at work?
A quick look into each others eyes without anyone seeing was all we wanted.

Do you remember how we sneaked to the top floor for a quick hug?
I was ready to risk everything to just hold you in my arms.
Do you remember how I held you from behind and caressed you?
And you said that was the best feeling ever.

Do you remember the last moments we spend with each other?
I had my head on your shoulders and fear in my eyes.
Do you remember how you said; you will always be there be my side.
And your love will never fade and we will get thru this.

Can you for a minute remember the moment when you felt I loved you the most?
Today my love for you has grown a hundred times more.
Whenever you have a fleeting thought of me; I want you to remember.
I am waiting to hear your voice; for my heart and love will always belong to you.
