The Flame Within
There is a flame inside of me that can not be touched
It is indeed quite small but it means so much
Always burning and yearning to get free and go wild
Yes it is me, as a small inner child
The one I thought was taken from me
But there she is smiling and waving for all to see
That through all the bad she managed to survive
As a small flame, flickering inside.
