The Front-Row Gemini Poem by Ramesh Iyengar

The Front-Row Gemini

TheFront Row Gemini
Ah, as merry notes ofmarriedcuckoos
That chirp, all day, summon each pal
That fill the chill day all in cheers
Thou who seateth facing the wall
Together seated in cemented closeness
Bound, unsevered, tweet high-decibel'd noises
With what thought, kismetbrought together
These young lasses, in full bloomingpair?
Part never you, nor breachaway
till the school doors shut for the day.
Curious to fill green proximity desks
To dine, to work, write all diurnal tasks
Howinter-twined this bright scholar-gemini?
Swear I, no pair in future, would come any.
