The first are last and last are first
Before our unseen goal
So now we too may quench our thirst
And feed our hungry soul

Though scattered through the world at large
Your awesome will was done
For through Your hand in Jesus’ charge
We’ve still remained as one

We watched the bride of Jesus rise
The world just standing by
Now dry the tears from Jacob’s eyes
And let His children fly

We see You are our Father’s Son
The Christ who was before
That victory through Your blood was won
To open Heaven’s door

So many years of struggle Lord
Still hateful souls abound
But through Your love in one accord
Let’s rise to higher ground

Let Jacob be a blessing now
Let Israel unite
Let all the world to Jesus bow
Through Heaven’s guiding Light

Though north, south though east and west
Have sought to bring us down
Through Jacob now let all be blessed
And wear life’s golden crown

As written Lord let all draw nigh
Let all now understand
Let praise to Jesus never die
In Israel’s fair land
