The Future Unseen

He’ll kiss and soothe her ailing heart
Relieve her soul of pain
Jerusalem! Will God impart
The Truth to life again

Praising on roads and every street
Hosannas loud and clear
Jacob will see those hands and feet
And cry “My God You’re here”

You are The Christ The promised Lord
Life’s Rock and Corner Stone
Our Father’s Word His mighty Sword
The King on David’s throne

Oh Lord dear God You’ve come at last
To those who’ve suffered long
Repenting of our wayward past
Right now our every wrong

To those You’ve called to do Your will
Chosen Your word to bear
Salvation’s dawned on Zion Hill
For Israel to share

They’d wrench us from the human race
In death’s dark gaping jaw
Yet Israel by Heaven’s grace
Will rise as ne’er before

Chosen to know The living Word
To walk Your chosen path
To live and thrive by what we’ve heard
To flee the coming wrath

With arms stretched forth still open wide
With voice both sweet and low
Calling Jacob to come inside
So Heaven’s love can flow
