Once upon a time,
When you were once mine,
My heart filled with love and pride,
Whenever you were by my side,
I fell asleep with a smile on my face and love in my heart,
Thinking we would never grow apart,
I believed that for some time,
Believed you would always be mine,
But you never just belonged to me,
I always thought that was true,
But now I really see,
I see the real you,
That girl also took in your lies,
She loved you aswell,
She didn't believe in goodbyes,
Could you not tell?
We both loved you so very much,
All you did was hurt us,
You didn't believe in forever,
You didn't want us together,
I though I knew you,
Your taste, your smell,
I thought you were true,
Till I found out that girl knew aswell,
If you'd have told her you were with someone,
She wouldn't of done this to me,
She didn't know she was doing wrong,
She just wanted to live happily ever afterly,
That's all I've ever wanted in life,
Love and friends,
Maybe to be a wife,
Everything with no ends,
No more of your painful game,
We've thrown away the dice,
You can't give either of us the blame,
Us to are very nice,
You are the one who treats people like dirt,
Then leave them with heartache,
Leave them with all this hurt,
Leave there heart to break,
But me and this girl have left you,
We knew it was the right this to do,
An even though we have so much hurt and pain,
We both know we feel the same,
Maybe we don't talk or consider each other a friend,
But at least we both got out in the end.
