The Game Of Truth Poem by Hannah La Gaire

The Game Of Truth

I carry the knowledge you can't perceive
You don't need to ask me where I found the clues,
With every question I weave and retrieve
To test your words to see what's true.

Trust felt solid but now it's cracked,
I've known for ages though you remain blind,
Hints dropped softly yet you've avoid the fact
Still spinning tales leaving the truth behind.

In the shadows I linger my secrets kept tight
While your hidden truths dance just out of sight,
I play this game with a mask and a smile
Waiting for you to expose all your lies.
