oh divine is the Ganges
it's breeze so much sweeter
cajoling our hearts
along it's banks.

love is the sunshine
the pale yellow sunshine
glistening like diamonds
just above it's waves

oh how vast is the Ganges
oh how serene is it's skies
that brings memories
sweet old memories
of a lifetime

blessed is the Majhi
that lives on its water
blessed are its fishes
that glides through it.

divine is it's joy
for people like
you and me.
