they say she's heartless
empty and crule
emotionless
because she hides her heart
not crule
simply careful
they say she never cries
for its only in secretcie
she hides it within
so she's not put down
they laugh because she stays alone
but they dont know
its to protect herself
from the pain
a mask
to hide from the ridicule and hate
the silence is her safty, th dark is her blanket
for she is the girl of the shadows
the girl who hides her cries
with no site of pain
who says that she never cries
for the day she dies
forever in her eyes
