*the Girl With The Dream* - Poem by ice johnson

As the wind blew
In the cliff I stood
Looking over the sea
I use to remember who I use to be
All those precious dreams
Who I truly was
The girl with a dream

I looked around the broken path
gray clouds hovered over
Autumn leaves danced across my eyes

I fell in love as well
Handed back would be this heart
But I threw these memories away
I buried every person every nit and grit

I'm moving on
No longer are they important

I don't have a plan
I'm only left with what I know
They can say what they want
Judge me, make fun of thee
But I remember they are never right
nor would they from the start
God can only judge me

If you look back, I'll be the one walking
away. You missed out on someone great
You'll be wishing you could of done the undone
For now, I must move on
