The Golden Rule
I'd like to say I am a Christian
Though there are things I don't understand
Like how a man can love a woman
But a man can't love a man
This particular topic is a modern issue
Most people don't like to talk about
But here I am taking a stand
For the things I'd like to shout
When you were growing up
Your parents always taught you
"Treat others the way you want to be treated"
So why is this anything new?
