The Golden Touch Poem by King Midas

The Golden Touch

Rating: 5.0

My heart turned to stone
As my soul burns to ash
An angel's golden touch
This life starts to flash

A blinding burst of light
As the day keeps burning on
I remember when everything was true
But those days are done

My golden angel left me
With a golden touch of love
Golden thoughts amongst us
A warm and golden hug

We cried a golden tear
But now that doesn't mean much
I'm left a golden nothing
Because of her golden touch

you have written a golden poem, king midas. the message of lost love and its ache carries me away. if i may suggest, retype the poem to correct the typo errors that sort of distract. i hope you don't mind my suggesting it. the poem is just too beautiful in its love and pain. a royalty. like you. sincerely, merc
