The Good Tree

I am a tree so I stand
strong and tall
silently
still.
I have mastered patience.
All I do is wait.
Wait to be seen,
yearn to be heard.
A good tree so I've heard
Graceful and calm
while stories telling of things I've felt lie
Secretly kept inside.
