The walls display their ancient might
With every stone and every brick
An epic tale, it does depict
The Great Wall, it whispers tales
Of empires rising, and kingdoms frail
A history etched within its walls
A legacy that forever calls
From the mountains, it snakes its way
Through valleys and plains, it holds sway
A barrier, impenetrable and strong
A masterpiece that'll forever belong
The Great Wall, it braves the storms
Withstanding time, in all its forms
Sun and rain, snow and wind
It stands tall, undeterred, unchained
For thousands of miles, it stretches on
A testament to what man has done
With every step, it takes us through
A journey of the past and future too
The Great Wall, it towers high
Reaching for the endless sky
An endless sea of stone and sand
A true wonder, of this ancient land
Through dynasties and wars it has stood
A silent witness, to all that was good
A guardian, of its people and land
A protector, with a mighty hand
The Great Wall, it's a sight to see
A symbol of China's history
With every turn, a new surprise
A wonder that never fails to mesmerize
From watchtowers to beacon fires
A testament to the people's desires
To safeguard their precious land
And keep invaders at bay, with a steady hand
The Great Wall, it's more than just stone
It's a nation's spirit, a mark of its own
A pride of a culture, that's stood the test
