The heart, echoing with light,
overflowing with songs and life,
I have chosen silence—
to descend within,
as a listener, a seer.
That stillness,
like the meeting of night and day,
as if Truth has laid its hand
upon my head,
coolness, peace—
the touch of 'Alastu' at dawn.
Nightingales sing morning melodies,
humming in sweet tunes,
and between sleep and wakefulness,
that thin veil
becomes the true Word.
No struggle,
no argument—
just breath,
the moment that lingers in love,
like the beloved's face
hidden behind a curtain.
Once, I ran from this silence,
mistaking it for loneliness,
drowning in noise,
filling my heart
with the weight of the past.
Now I know:
silence is not emptiness,
it is a mirror
showing me what
I once turned away from.
Now I sit with the Beloved
who is myself,
after years of weariness and seeking,
serene, content,
standing with open eyes.
I have emerged from the chaos of the self,
refined by the Divine,
now it breathes pure.
My contentment is complete.
This garden,
watered daily with the
elixir of love,
where every leaf, every branch
welcomes me,
where in every direction
the sound of sacred wind resounds.
I listen,
and silence answers—
not with words,
but with knowing:
'I am whole, and I am here.'
