The Heart Of A Scorching Fury Poem by R. Ariffin

The Heart Of A Scorching Fury

I reached to the sun and pulled out its heart;
It beat in scorching fury within my clasp;
I scoured between the blazes for the final truth;
For each reality that you failed to grasp;
You burn my altar of which all miracles are placed;
In beauty and of love bestowed upon your name;
I looked with much profound and hateful muse;
As how love burns and dissolves in vengeful shame;
While the sun ails in heartless decadence;
Your heart dances and flickers in a thousand glow;
And for all the love that’s wasted and spat upon;
The same amount of hate will flow.
