The Heart Says Poem by Pragathi Pamarthi

The Heart Says

Have you ever tasted
The feel of broken wings?
It's terrific than how,
A death alarm rings!
Ever wanna hear
How the silence sings?
Touching the horizon
At the edge of the strings.
Spending years to realize,
Unacceptable truth, accepting all
Whatever it brings.
And sometimes I wonder
If life was meant to do
All horrible things!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The heart is innocent, why should it be guilty for any crime? This poem shows the agitation of heart towards the life that is absolutely ruthless to many people, especially the most innocent ones.
