The Highway Can Only Say It Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Highway Can Only Say It

If we you ask the highway men, you will come to know it,
How have we cut the trees
How did we cut the trees
In widening our roads?

How have they been earth-excavating heavy duty machines
For rugged terrains?
How the devastation brought on to the woods,
How do the men and animals die in accidents?

But road safety the concern of ours,
How to save life the matter?
Time and distance was a problem,
But the man and machines, the traffic of so dangerous.
