The Hurt Of Lost Love Poem by joseph young

The Hurt Of Lost Love

Rating: 5.0

you said you would love me forever
and your love will never die.
another come and you pushed me over,
it was all a lie.

you said I was all you ever wanted,
all you ever needed.
I was never wanted,
our love was a dud.

I asked for your hand
'will you marry me? '
I paid for the band
but you gave me the wrong key

and now I know the hurt
the hurt of love.
why does it hurt
and who shot the dove?
