The Jailer Of Truth Poem by Evelina Stewartss

The Jailer Of Truth

Silence lurks, behind eyes wide in a smile
winking
Silence lurks behind the corners of turned up lips
forced
Silence Lurks behind the boisterous ringing out of laughter
Reaching
Silence lurks behind groups of friends, some that know
Behind family when you hope it doesn't show
Behind assumed confidence, and artificial arrogance

Silence lurks in a dark abyss, endless
In a place, this place, this place
My heart
