The Journey Poem by James Fanthorpe

The Journey

I've sought, I've chased, I've willed to me
Gains more soulful than monetary

I've pondered, I've perused, I've Longed to see
Much in slavery to curiosity

But while on the journey, duly discerning
It occurs to ones self that I've quenched the yearning

So maybe in transit, unconscious about it
I've ticked the boxes but not how I planned it
