THE JOURNEY-9

While walking on the corridor of life,
carrying a heavy load on the shoulder,
one fails to know when
the road comes to an abrupt end.
Before life begins, death comes in front.

For what
this unique endeavour and
for how long is the accomplishment?

ଯାତ୍ରା-9

ବୋଝ ବୋହି ଚାଲୁ ଚାଲୁ ଜଣା ପଡେ ନାହିଁ
କେତେ ବେଳେ ରାସ୍ତା ସରିଯାଏ
ଜୀବନ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବା ଆଗରୁ
ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ସାମନାକୁ ଆସିଯାଏ

କୋଉ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ପାଇଁ ଏ ଅନନ୍ୟ ସାଧନା ଆଉ
କେତେ କ୍ଷଣ ପାଇଁ ଏ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତି?
