The Key To A Trial Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

The Key To A Trial

When the blizzard comes to town
You don't want to be around
Or in the snow you'll drown

Do you dare to step-out
When Jack Frost is biting about
And the north wind coldly shouts

It's more than just a foot
You forgot to wear your boot
As the winter owl does hoot

So you try to start your car
But you cannot drive to far
And the lights are dark at the bar

So you might as well stay home
But it's dark and you're alone
And the power line is down

It is in times like these I say
Sometimes life is gray
But if we wait and pray

We'll find in time a smile
We just have to wait awhile
Patience is the key to overcome a trial
