The Knoll, Paradise Poem by Rebecca Stansfield

The Knoll, Paradise

Ten thousand years ago, she waited
by autumn leaves whirling by her feet
behind the tree’s.
Sounds rumbling, overhead.
She still waits for you, ten thousand years later.
Her spirit in the leaves
she waits, autumn leaves whirling by her feet.
