Beneath the blanket of the sleeping sun, weary twigs, and hooting cries
Under some window of a house wearing a hat of water reed
In the labyrinths of the loitering night, the vigilant and benign
Were you not so lonely, amongst a mob of shadow's dust hanging?
I could feel a hefty one taking me down from the moment I saw your face
Drilling into the bark of my skull, creating a reverie of bliss
We bled drops of passion swelling into lakes without end
Were you not so lonely, you who incarcerated my dreams?
