The Last Apology Poem by Toni Atchison

The Last Apology

Rating: 0.5

I'm spending too much time
alone in my room,
eating cookie-dough fudge,
texting my friends.
(I miss you)

I've cried a river
in the last two weeks.
Wanting you badly,
not believing you're gone.
(I need you)

I think about you
all the time,
awake or asleep
I cry for you.
(I'm sorry)
