The Last Breath Poem by Kooky Kailey

The Last Breath

You scream at me you scream so loud
I feel as if I just might drown
I can’t leave then, I can’t leave now
Your hits and blows they hurt so bad
I can’t believe the dreams we had
You say you love me you say you care
But the proof of that just isn’t there
You say I doubt you
You bet I do.
There’s a monster consuming you.
I’m scared to go
I just might wait
But right now its you i hate.
You bring be down, the ultimate low.
I hate you more with each blow
This feeling now just won’t leave
My body aches with each heave
I’m sorry darling you know I am
But this can’t go on, you know it can’t
So I’m saying goodbye
Before I break
These are the last words I hope to speak.
