Did you ever love a boy, and knew he didn't love you?
Did you ever feel like crying, but what good would it do?
Did you ever look into his eyes, and say a little prayer?
Did you ever look into his heart, and wish that you were there?
Did you ever see him dancing, when the lights were way down low?
Did you ever whisper 'gosh I love him', but never let anyone know?

Please don't fall in love my friend.
You'll find it doesn't pay
Although it causes broken hearts
It happens everyday

Did you ever wonder where he was, and wonder if he's true?
One day you'll be happy, the next day you'll be blue

Love is fine, but it hurts a lot, the price you pay is high
If I had a choice between love and death
I think I'd rather die
