The Life's Highway Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Life's Highway

The path of life keeps on winding
beyond the veil of what I see,
and every turning, every blind corner,
keeps unveiling
what this soul's ancient journey
means to me.

The silent watchers in the distance—
those eternal peaks—
seem to my inward eyes
as though they drift behind me backward
while I journey forth,
carried in this vessel of flesh and breath,
alone—
like guardians of dreamers
seeking the forgotten road back home.

The pale lamp of the moon, so bright,
guides me through the longest night.
And wherever this thread may lead,
only the wind and stars know—
only the breath between worlds knows.

I need not clutch at answers,
nor demand a reason for the rain—
only the deep peace of knowing
that nothing true is ever lost
along the way,
nothing of the soul is ever lost
in the crossing.

The river of becoming, evolving
keeps on flowing
with a slow and knowing smile.
I need only stillness within my spirit
as I walk this solitary path,
as I have walked it
since before the first dawn,
since eternity breathed me into being.

Moonlight spills upon the road tonight,
my spirit dissolving through the fading light;
and wherever this road may end—
in silence, in radiance, in the unknown—
I shall be gathered,
as my consciousness recollects
wholeness, without fragmentation,
once again.
