This little lantern of mine,
This spark of lantern light,
Through deepest shadow it will shine,
To banish away the night.

Though heavy darkness tries to crowd
And dim your fragile spark,
Stand tall against the shadow's shroud,
A beacon in the dark.

This little lantern of mine,
Now dances with the breeze,
Escaping every earthly line
To soar above the trees.

Go join the drift of glowing spheres,
Ignite the clouds above;
Let wisdom conquer all our fears,
And light the sky with love.
