Imbibing brandy
And Irish stout.

A grey flecked beard
Coupling a tweed cap,
A wrinkled brow.

At times receptive
To dialogue and moods
Of silent presence.

A source of thought
Striving to be free
In metre and rhyme.

A somewhat solitary being….
