The Lonely Doorway Poem by Kaylah Reynolds

The Lonely Doorway

Holding her tight as she wishes for you
Staying strong hope this feeling will pass through
Don't know what to say she thinks it's her fault
Locking my emotions in a vault

Wanting to escape knowing I can't flee
The feeling of love has forsaken me
Please come back home everyone is distraught
My broken heart can no longer be bought

Wonder if what you have now is plenty
Room of laughter now stands dark and empty
Sound of nothingness has an endless roar
So much hiding behind a single door

If you come home my arms are open wide
Just tell me what to do my hands are tied
