The Lost Love.... Poem by JOE JOHNSON

The Lost Love....

Confusion is very common
when it comes to you. My
pain has already manifested
into something unfathomable.

I can't help it feel guilty and lost.
Motion without movement. I saw
your eyes have seen another, and
your kiss has became poisoned
with hate.

You are more closed than warm.
My thoughts collide and argue
with each other. You have severed
my heart and lit it on fire and
watched as I suffered.

Lost without your love I will cut
out and break my bones just to
see you again, just to hold you.
I am downhearted and miserable.

Only the Gods know of my pain
and sorrows, even the devil pity's
me. Once I speak of you, the clouds
suddenly fade into the night and
the rain becomes afraid to fall.

Shall I not cry nor weep. My forever
with you has become my past. I weep for
you but perhaps you shall weep for me.

My love has turned into a long elegy
that no one understands. I am deprived
from feeling joy and love. I remember how
beautiful you were but you have turned
my dreams into forever nightmares.

I beg to sing to you for all eternaty to
surrond my sadness with you presence.
For even the blind man can see my sadness
and how I unravel in it as I pick up my
instrument.

My love is dying and it pains me..................
