The Lover's Laws Poem by Zexion The Poet

The Lover's Laws

Rating: 3.0

Blood is not your hero,
It's who it was that counts,
And death alone is not the love,
Nor blade and nor a mount,
No, blood is not a hero,
It's why it's shed that counts,
A red stains not a sign of love,
If the stain was done with doubt,
If a man is willing to kill,
The death is not his love,
For only what he's fighting for,
Can make his heart a dove,
And so I fight for you my dear,
I fight a worthy cause,
I fight the dark to keep you safe,
I fight with The Lover's Laws.
