The Memory Of Outer Space Poem by May Mustang

The Memory Of Outer Space

I lie here remembering
Our big telescope.
And seeing the moons of Jupiter.
Like I was up there in space,
In the swirling black ink of it,
Taking spacewalks like an astronaut,
Past a star going supernova.
I felt like a part of Andromeda;
The sun casts its light to
Foreign planets that exist
Unnamed.
