Like drops of water
that touch the lotus leaf
yet never cling to it,
so let the beauties of this world
tempt you—
but never possess you.
Let them fall away.
Set them aside.
Leave them behind.
Turn within.
Worship.
Adore.
O dancing, mercurial drop
of the Ancient Breath—
rise.
Rise,
and behold the reflection
of the dazzling, blazing,
brilliant White Light
upon the waters—
the Light
that shines within every drop,
the Light
that leaves no corner
of existence untouched,
the Light
in which the seeker,
the seeking,
and the Sought
cease to be three—
and are revealed
as One.
