The Misery Poem by kate Emma

The Misery

Theres a sinking feeling inside by body
And it keeps getting heavier and heavier
Its never got any better
I’ve felt this way since I can remember

There is no happiness no joy or excitement
All you want to do is constantly cry
Im so desperate to feel just an ounce of happiness
But I cant no matter how much I try

I’ve never felt like im happy with anything
I’ve hated every single day of my 21 year life
So desperate to find the one thing that will work but
Nothing ever has and never will feel like its right

Waking up in the morning is the hardest thing
I will ever have to do
How can I wake up in the mornings
When I have nothing to look forward to

I cant do this anymore the feelings are to strong
This misery is unbearable I’ve tired and I’ve tried
The only way to get rid of it and make it end
Is to just curl up and just die
