The Moment - Poem by Paul Prescott

From the moment my eyes first saw you,
I couldn’t believe how beautiful you were,
I couldn’t help to stare - from the moment,
On the first moment my eyes saw you.

My cheeks would blush every time your near
My hands trembled with fear - why?
It can’t be my heart telling me a lie
I don’t know why I feel like this.

I would say hello to you,
But I’m afraid you won’t like me,
Or won’t like what you see,
I hope you notice me too.

Your eyes, hair and smile - I love,
Every time I see you the sun is always shinning,
Is this a sign or just another silly moment?
Who knows until something happens?
