The mountains rise
huge green giants
heavy and strong
They turn their heads toward me
Looking, asking, knowing
They stretch out their massive bodies
Solid, impenetrable rock and soil
all around me
They hold me at their centre
protected in a calm cocoon
Offering Undisturbed space
Quiet room to grow
evolve into a new shape
I am safe
Everything I need is here
In gratitude, I focus inward
Honouring their gift
I begin my work
