The Narcissist

Rating: 5.0

My love for thee is lost astray,
For reasons unbeknownst to most,
For the way in which I would desire,
Would needn’t be the warmly fire,
Numerous are not my thoughts,
Be still my quiet beating muscle,
For I will surely burn in time,
My silent decadence must surely be a crime,
The things that I believe I would,
Do for you instead the world,
Burning buildings crashing to the ground,
Raining hails of chaos till your sweet is found,
Lest this world is just
And never it shall be
And so I plant the ever seed
And Bedlam we shall be,
If you asked I would destroy these lands,
With a whisper of your cunning tongue,
You could command all man,
With wave of finger not full hand,
The world you’d re-assemble,
I bequeath my life unto your plan,
Secretly seducing all and one for naught,
The pain that we have felt,
We believe will all be gone,
And still on knee I’m knelt,
Asking for your blissful glare,
Please end my assertive torment,
Let me smell your flowing hair,
Tear me down and build me up,
Like seed with water and sun,
That’s all I ask of your beauty,
Before the night is done,
If sun shall rise and I remain,
Then disseminate will I be again,
Please I beg come stay with me,
One night is all I ask,
My beautiful my beautiful,
Looking at the two way glass,
This whom I see looks unfamiliar,
Yes some how strangely vague,
How sane my I seem to myself,
Talking to you on the other side,
If only you would come alive,
So that you I could embrace,
Oh my love come back to me,
I must keep open my eyes,
For if I lose this sight of you,
Forever lost to time.
