Smoke is rising from everything;
the skies are burning,
and acid rain falls over
skinless souls.
Screaming limbs are
flung high by the bombing.
Cities have been
murdered, and men have burned.
How shameless is the perpetrator
who kills babies,
children, women, and the old.
A lust for power has
buried humanity
under the open sky and
in an open pit.
The scent of scorched flesh
is in every breath.
Oh Messiah, they
wait for you!
And the charred remains of
sanity wait for you too.
Come fast—hurry—
before this world collapses!
The Holocaust reoccurs
every day.
