It was the soft winters; the spring at the doors,
I met you whence on a night on the roads.
Far there you stood waiting for me,
Boyish smile on your face when you looked at me.
My heart skipped a beat to see you there stand,
I trembled softly-your sight, so grand.
You opened the door of my car and there you sat,
And I couldn't look straight into your eyes,
So overwhelmed and nervous was I at your sight.
A night I cherished so much, cold but still warm,
Childish joy in me there swam.
I still walk by the road reminiscing the moment I so behold.
An aching heart now softly hums—
‘No more such moments will ever come.'
