The Nightingale In The Rain Poem by Eferebo Chibuzor

The Nightingale In The Rain

Let's make a jaunt to the gardens;
The vines have budded,
And the pomegranates are in bloom.
There I will give you my love!

Take my breath and I'm yours;
Insigne my finger, I'll cling to you;
Shall I call you Cherie
And you shall be mine!

I shall lay upon your motherly breast
And my worries shall vanish like vapor!
Shall i kiss you so passionately
Until we are lost in ecstasy!
And the clouds shall cheer
with silver bromide!

Shall the clouds be consumed by the coitus of our love;
There you shall moan and crow
Until the earth is soaked in great deluge!

The waters shall softly unclad us
Until we find our clothes no more!
And we shall lay bare in the middle of the ocean!

Shall you scream soft and loud,
And moan happily and wild
Until the queen of the coast shall jealously faint!
Therein, Cupid shall chariot us to eternal bliss!

When the rains are over,
I shall scribble your photos upon the heavens,
And when the rainbows come upon the skies,
It shall remind the world of our great love.
