I thought you were the one
the one to spend the rest of my life with
or at least most of it.
I wanted a long term
but just got a one night stand.
I wanted more
but you just wanted to get laid.
They told me not to
but I wanted to be with you
and I believed in us.
Believed we could handle anything.
I believed that nothing could change the way
the way we felt about each other.
We loved each other or so I thought.
