Her golden hair flows as she walks,
so light, gentle, serene, and soft.
With every move my heart lifts off.
I hang on her lips when she talks.
Whenever I catch her glance
my expression is enveloped by a smile.
No matter the darkness of a day so vile.
All I can pray for is a chance.
I wish to show how I feel.
Will it push her away?
Can I find the words so say.
She has impressed on me as a seal.
She now knows what is brewing inside me;
I could hold back no longer.
I spilt my emotions before her.
She turns, looking into my face gently.
Please no! Could it have been a mistake?
Will she turn and leave, friendship broken?
Those would should never have been spoken.
It so, I know my heart will break.
Wait, can it be? What is this?
My heart and mind are racing.
Curious, stomach is fluttering
as she leans to me, with a sweet kiss.
Holding her tight I will not let go.
I've waited for this so long.
My heart is breaking into song.
'Mornings almost come, ' she leaves slow.
The proceeding day full of joy,
The sight of her call sets me free;
however her voice has no glee.
She is taken, has anothe boy.
Declares she cannot be with me
and that her apology is sincere.
Her place just isn't here,
it is with him I now must see.
I do not regret that night of happy bliss,
I only wish it could have lasted longer.
Wish that she'd allow us to become stronger.
She is now gone, and her I eternally miss.
