The Origin Poem by Chukwuma Adione

The Origin

what i said i became
my tongue gave me a new name
food, i am the stomach
water, i am the sea
clouds, i am the sky
trees, i am the forest
heat, i am the fire
light, i am the sun
twinkle, i am the star
name, i am the person
i am the origin
this is the life i own
i am the home, i am the home.
