The Owl Poem by Pari Joshi

The Owl

The wise one, the cute one,
With sparkling, big eyes.
Which see in the dark night,
A wonderful prize.

Awake under the moon,
Asleep under the sun.
Reversing the cycle,
Which we have begun!

A lover of the moon,
One of a kind;
Protecting the world,
With a sharp mind.

With a pointed beak,
And ragged claws;
She hovers the world,
Through all her flaws!

She is a true beauty,
That's all I can say.
Now, I retire;
For the day!
