The Pain Behind Those Eyes Poem by karen hernandez

The Pain Behind Those Eyes

Rating: 5.0

nobody noticed those bruices on her arms
nobody cared that she cried at night
nobody tought she was harmed
but looking at her was a sight
she walked to skool
with her lunch bag
and her head bowed down low
she never really nagged
she knew she was hopeless
nobody ever told her hi
nobody stoped to chat
nobody ever told her bye
adn she felt all alone
she wore the same clothes
for days and days
seh would wear the burden
of her secret storm
she always wishes
she was never really born
at school her teacher wonders
she never asks
its hard to see her pain
deep behind those eyes
through hard times
she stand hard as a rock
in this world she dosent like
but new hopes give her strenght
she cries in the middle of the night
her neighbors hear but turn their backs and their lights
in the morning its to way to late
now her bodys laying in a grave
her name is carved in the stone
she was a broken heart
that the world forgot
but now shes at a place whre shes loved
a place wheres shes far away from harm

a girl with pain behind her eyes is now a girl with happines behind those hazel brights...! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
