The Peacemaker's Call Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Peacemaker's Call

The highest calling is quiet:
To weave peace
where anger sparks,
To turn the dark back into light.
"The believers are a single brotherhood—
So make peace between them."
Gather what the wind has scattered.
Soften hearts hardened by fury.
Right wrongs—
Not with wrath,
But with grace.
Ask yourself:
Am I balm…
Or do I fan the flames?
Walk the path of peace:
Patience when tempests rise,
Justice between enraged eyes,
Gentle speech, brave care,
Listening first—
Leaving none in despair.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Better than fasting, prayer, charity
Is bringing peace between hearts."
Serve the One above—
Begin here, in love.
Sow calm.
Starve division.
Offer peace.
Be the presence that softens fear,
The quiet bridge
Across a wounded sea.
Make this covenant with your soul:
Wherever I walk—
Through joy or strife—
I leave no bitter discord.
Only peace,
For peace's sake.
To be a peacemaker,
To give peace to all.
