she picks the flowers one by one
untill the field goes bare
sheathed by kisses of the sun
caught in a lovers snare
again and again the petals fall
he loves her...he loves her not
waiting for a return to her call
by a boys charm she is caught
a day slowly glides by
now she must leave soon
even so her feelings intensify
falling tears reflect the light of the moon
she ventures home
her heart beaten and dim
her imagination continues to roam
she only thinks of him
finally she reaches the door
but something isn't right
flower petals cover the floor
his eyes glowing in the moonlight
she can't believe her eyes
how did he entrance her
as he whispers, 'suprize'
she now knows the petals answer
